This session will describe different types of extended reality (XR) and use cases for different types of XR. The use of virtual reality (VR) for leadership training will be explored showcasing communication training, mindfulness, and opportunities to think “inside the headset” for creative ways to develop leaders.

Stephanie Justice, DNP, RN, CHSE; The Ohio State University College of Nursing; Columbus, Ohio
Dr. Stephanie Justice is an Assistant Clinical Professor at The Ohio State University College of Nursing (OSUCON). She helped to plan and is the faculty lead in the XR lab, teaches courses across the curriculum, and is part of the Center for Healthcare Innovation at the university. She is a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) and virtual reality educator. Dr. Justice participated in the National League for Nursing (NLN) Sim Leaders program in 2022. She is faculty on the Reimagining Nursing Grant: Disrupting Nursing Education Using Extended Reality (XR), Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning sponsored by the American Nurses Foundation.
