"Nurturing Unique Contributions to Nursing Leadership Science"Nursing leadership has never been more important. The evidence supports that nursing leadership is linked to nurse performance which is vital to improved care-giver experience, and quality patient care and outcomes. Demonstrating our commitment to nursing leadership science, ALSN established the ALSN Research Fund. The Board believes this grant opportunity will assist our members who are invested in the important work of nursing leadership science. As part of the 2021 Inaugural Kick-off Campaign for the ALSN Research Fund, it was our goal to raise $5,000. However, because of your generous donation to the ALSN Research Fund, we were able to raise $10,000 by the end of 2021. These monies were used to provide Dr. Minjin Kim and her team with a research grant to examine the effect of a mini-mindfulness and narrative nursing intervention to promote nurse leaders’ resilience and well-being. Then again, in 2022, through your philanthropy, we were able to raise $10,000. Therefore, we will be offering our second ALSN Research Grant, to further proliferate nursing leadership science research. Our grant funding offers research support FOR our members FROM our members. Your generosity impacts the mission and vision of ALSN. Again, Thank You! We are happy to announce that we are launching our 2023 ALSN Research Fund Campaign with the goal of raising $10,000 to support the ALSN research priorities. This year, we have created donor levels to be able to recognize those who so graciously support the ALSN Research Campaign.
*For the 2023 Campaign, donors will be recognized in the ALSN January 2024 newsletter. We hope that you will consider joining us in kicking off our 2023 Research Fund Campaign by donating to the ALSN 2023 Research Fund. Because of your generous donation,we can make a difference in shaping nursing leadership science for the betterment of patient, nurse, and organizational outcomes. | Donation goal45%
