Dr. Holly Wei is a Professor and Assistant Dean of the PhD Program at the University of Louisville School of Nursing. Her overarching contribution is a global initiative of advocating organizational excellence and caring leadership to promote nurses' work environments, wellbeing, and care quality. She has over 40 peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals and delivered over 70 national and international presentations and news interviews on leadership development, clinician wellbeing, caring culture, and patient care quality. Her most current project is a textbook on nurse-led visionary leadership in healthcare, which is in process with Sigma International Publishing. Dr. Wei has received some prestigious awards, including UNC Board of Governors Distinguished Professor for Teaching (2021), Outstanding Scholar (2021),DAISY Exceptional Educator Award (2020),Leininger Caring Culture Award (2019 International Association for Human Caring), Scholar-Teacher Award (2019), and Nurse Educator of the Year (2018 North Carolina Nurses Association).
